CUSTOMER REVIEWS:
Should Have Been A Three Dollar Pamphlet--Not A Book! -

This book has very little, very insignificant instruction regarding the making of Porcelain beads. I was sorely disappointed, and am likely to return it, pronto! The only valuable teaching was on how to color/prepare the porcelain. Techniques for making beads and for making buttons are redundant--the process is the same except for the making of the holes. Even the instructive pictures--which take up far more page space than do the written instructions (typed in normal/average font size)--are redundant. More bead making techniques could be learned from a book about polymer clay beads. I was hoping for a variety of bead making tips and techniques, not the same bead-making instruction reiterated throughout the book. There's no redemption for the book at the end, where the author wastes 8 pages with a picture gallery of finished pieces--each of which takes up an entire page! (And, there are already several other page-consuming jewelry portraits scattered throughout) The valuable parts of this book could be a tri-fold pamphlet with a couple of small pictures included, rather than an 8.5 x 11 78-page book at this price!
