Average Customer Ratings:

Corning Ware and Visions were the most versatile forms of dishes and cookware ever made. Created from the durable Pyroceram material originally used on the nosecones of rockets, they are the only dishes that can be used in the oven, in the freezer, on the range top, or in the microwave. Now that the Pyroceram material is no longer being produced, a huge secondary market has erupted for these beautiful and durable dishes. This book chronicles the 40+ years of Corning Ware and the 15 years of Visions. Compiled directly from information in the Corning Glass Works archives, this complete and unabridged guide covers the 60+ patterns, hundreds of shapes, and thousands of specific dishes of Corning Ware and Visions made since 1956. The book includes hundreds of detailed pictures, as well as specific information about each piece, including production dates, rarity, current value, and other interesting information. This guide includes the history of Corning Ware, Visions, and the Corning Glass Works, as well as facts about how Corning Ware and Visions were invented, manufactured, and sold to the public. Many historical photographs and advertisements are provided. This book is essential for any kitchen or glassware collector, dealer, trader, or appraiser, or for anybody else who appreciates this beautiful and adaptable cookware.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS:
Great Reference Book! -

This is an excellent reference book for the collector of Corning Ware and Visions Cookware. Clear pictures and concise descriptions and information make it easy to identify the name of a pattern, and Kyle writes an interesting history of the pieces also. Highly recommended.
- The home of teak outdoor furnitures

, simply quality bar stools
great resource -

This is a wonderful guide to corning ware and provides a good background on this amazing cookware. There are a few patterns and pieces missing that I have come across, and the values listed are a little high, but overall, it is a must-have for any corning ware enthusiast and collector.
Missing Modernism -

This book is a good reference for collectors of Corning Ware in general, but one major thing was missing: Centura! This book is about cookware, but the Centura line included both cookware and dinnerware. Besides the All White Buffet Servers, Centura is the line most often sought by midcentury modernism collectors.
The best thing about this book is the advertising ephemera, - so fun!
Corning Ware & Visions Cookware -

The book is wonderful. I just started collecting Blue corn flower cookware and some visions it has wonder pictures and prices. It gives you the prices what they are worth.I would recommend the book to any one. It is a must have book.

Great selections of branded hammocks at
- surely the ultimate teak furniture store!
Not enough detail... -

I bought this book to help me get smart on vintage corningware. I've been on a search to relive my childhood by collecting Corning from the 50's that I remember my mother using in the kitchen. The book does do a good job chronological detailing but is inconsistant helping you distingush vintage from new stuff. Some lines the author provides great detail other lines has little or none. Bottom line after reading you be unable to tell if you piece is vintage or not.
